• On the very first day of the LehLadakh tour itinerary, you will be landing in Leh and then our agents will welcome you and transfer you to the hotel that has been booked for your stay.
• Once you arrive at the hotel, you need to complete all the check in formalities at the reception and then head out to your room to spend some time in leisure.
• You will then be served a heart delicious breakfast in your room and you are free to spend some time getting acclimated to the climate.
• Then you can head out for a sightseeing tour in the evening hours. You will be visiting the famous Shanti Stupa, which was constructed as a testament to 2500 years of Buddhism, and is one of the main stops in your LehLadakh trip itinerary.
• Then you will be taken to the famous Leh Palace which dates back to almost the 17th century and you will get to know a lot about the bygone golden era of Leh.
• You will then head out to the local marketplaces for a shopping tour. You can buy some Tibetan Handicrafts or else go cafe hopping with your loved ones to try some delectable Ladakhi cuisine.
• At the end of the first day of Leh Itinerary, you will be returning back to the hotel for dinner and restful sleep.

• You will be heading out on an adventurous ride to the Sham Valley which nestles around the Srinagar – Leh Highway.

• You will then visit SpitukGompa{ Kali Mata Mandir} which is an age-old museum and is home to a number of ancient relics like the ancient masks, weapons and Buddhist paintings.
• Then you will be heading over to GurudwaraPathar Sahib where you will be served delectable Langar.

• The next stopover will be at a cafe on Khardung La 17380ft Pass which is considered to be the 2nd highest motorable road in the world.
• While descending down, you will come across the changing beautiful landscape of barren cold desert to white sand desert full of Nubra Sand Dunes.
• Then you will be visiting Diskit Monastery which is considered to be the largest monastery of Ladakh. This monastery has also got one of the largest Buddha statues in the world.
• Then you will get a chance to indulge in an exquisite double humped Bactrian Camel Ride and then enjoy camping under the sky full of stars.
• There will be an overnight stay in the campsite at Nubra Valley on the third of Leh itinerary and you will get to relish meals with your loved ones.

• In the morning hours, wake up in the gorgeous Nubra Valley and have a delicious breakfast.
• When in Nubra Valley, visiting Turtuk,the remote village, is a must. Inhabited by the Balti people, this village was open for tourists only in 2010. Untouched by time, this village introduces you to the Balti Muslim culture and gives you a rare opportunity to meet Balti people and see their lifestyle.
• Located on the bank of Shayok River, Turtuk is home to around 300 families, who live in this ‘border village’ right on the boundary of the Pakistan-administered region of Gilgit-Baltistan.
• Turtuk is hardly 10 km away from the northern most village named Thang. Turtuk was part of Pakistan-occupied Kashmir until 1971. Flanked by the towering and craggy Karakoram Mountains, the walk around the fields of buckwheat and barley, the scattered little houses, tiny alleyways make it worth your visit to this distant village. The village houses a Balti Heritage museum, showcasing the Balti culture.
• Turtuk is the gateway to Siachen Glacier and one of the sensitive locations. The idyllic village also houses the Royal Palace. Tourists are allowed to visit the palace and meet the king. It is highly advisable to take permission to click Balti people in the village. With the increasing tourists influx lately, the village has started building home stays and restaurants for travelers. Don’t forget to buy apricots from Turtuk.
• At the end of the Fourth day of Leh Itinerary, you will be returning back to the hotel for dinner and restful sleep.

• In the morning, wake up in the gorgeous Nubra Valley and have a delicious breakfast.
• Prepare for the most anticipated day of your life as you go to Pangong Lake on the Indo-China border.
• Pangong Tso, one of the highest altitude saline water lakes, will welcome you with its shifting colours of blue, green, and red.
• Spend the remainder of the day visiting the Pangong Lake surrounds, which include views of the Shyok River on one side and the mountains on the other.
• You can even recreate scenes from your favourite Bollywood films, such as 3-idiots and Jab Tak Hai Jaan, and have a Bollywood-style experience.
• At the end of the 5th day there will be overnight stay at the campground and you will be offered dinner at camp, hotel or hut.

• After breakfast at Guest house drive to Umling La or Umlung La is a mountain pass in Ladakh, India on the ridgeline between KoyulLungpa and the Indus River near Demchok.
• At an elevation of 5,640 metres (18,500 ft), it forms the source for the Umlung stream that drains into the Indus and a tributary of the Kiungdulriver that drains into KoyulLungpa. which ascends to a great height of 5,798.251 m (19,024 ft 0.73 in) in the vicinity of the pass, making it the world’s highest motorable road.
• After explore drive to Tsomoriri Lake cross Mahe Bridge, on the way to the Lake. Arrival at Korzok by late noon.Evening take a walk around the Lake to enjoy the scenic beauty.Overnight stay at Korzok (Tsomoriri).

• Pangong lake to Tso Moriri distance is around 213 kilometres. One of India’s most adventurous roads is a straight route between Pangong Lake to Tso Moriri. The whole distance is 291 kilometres, with the majority of the route consisting of difficult dirt paths that are distant from everything.

• Enjoy a substantial breakfast while enjoying a gorgeous morning in the highlands.Your destination for the 9thday will be the small town of Kargil. The total distance of the journey will be about 220 kilometers; doable in 6 hours easily. The road is mostly all good until Kargil.
• Prepare for an exciting drive to ‘Sham Valley,’ which is situated around the Srinagar – Leh highway.
• Begin your tour at the Hall of Fame, where you can pay your respects to the martyrs of the Indo-Pak War.

• The distance between the two towns is not really that great. It is just slightly over 230 kilometers but due to some bad stretches of the road, it may very well take you an entire day to cover.
• There is also the fact that there will be plenty of sightseeing involved as well so an early start from Kargil is highly advised.
• The route of the journey will be Kargil, Sankoo, Panikhar, Parkachik, Rangdum, Penzi La and finally to Padum. The area before Rangdum is all Suru valley and after Rangdum is all Zanskar. You will be amazed by the green it is all around in Suru valley and how it changes to a barren landscape slowly as you enter Zanskar.

• On day 11, you will return to Kargil via the same route that you took to get here. After spending the night in Kargil, you will then go back to Leh on Day 7. Plan your journey on this route in a way that you are able to cover all tourist attractions between Leh, Kargil, and Padum. Some can be visited while on your way to Padum and rest on your way back.
• There are two roads from Kargil to Leh. One is via Lamayuru that you took to reach Zanskar valley. A second road exists that is rarely traveled by anyone. It takes you through the Batalik sector which is extremely close to India Pakistan border.
